If you haven’t experienced Noosa Tri as part of Team Smiddy, you haven’t really experienced Noosa Tri!

It’s an experience that’s about more than just the finish line.

Of course there are the VIP perks, but there’s also the indescribable feeling you get when you stand shoulder to shoulder on the beach with your Team Smiddy mates, a wave of blue Tri-suits.

Or  when you hear the proud cries of ‘Smiddy, Smiddy, Smiddy’ from the sidelines, spurring you on when you feel like you’ve got nothing left in the tank.

Or most importantly, when you cross the finish line and realise that you’ve not only achieved an incredible physical feat, you’ve also saved lives by raising funds for ground-breaking cancer research at Mater.

It’s an indescribable feeling and an incredible experience, and one you can only get as part of Team Smiddy.

Who are you racing for?

1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetimes*—like Michelle, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in early 2016 and required ten months of gruelling treatment.

Last year, she donned the blue, red and black of Team Smiddy to race in the 2017 Noosa Triathlon Multisport Festival—raising funds for cancer research at Mater.

“I’m finally getting a taste of normality again and I love competing as part of the Team Smiddy environment, the people are amazing.”

“And if by chance things get a bit tough out there, take a moment to appreciate how lucky you are to be racing and how you are making a difference to people diagnosed with cancer.”
