Bottlemart Smiddy Challenge

The Bottlemart Smiddy Challenge is our foundation event – a 1600 kilometre, eight day cycle from Brisbane to Townsville. Experience the camaraderie and spirit of the Smiddy peloton in what is a rewarding and emotional journey to honour friends and family touched by cancer. Journey through the heart of Queensland and be inspired by its beauty and humbled by the generosity of local communities en route.
The ‘Smiddy Challenge’ is achievable for anyone. If you’re motivated to ride we’ll provide training support and have you riding into Townsville after an unforgettable eight days on the bike.
The Challenge is capped at 50 riders each year to ensure an intimate and memorable journey for participants.
